Ankith Reddy
Bengaluru
He was a journalist before he was a founder.
He has been building since he was nineteen.
Proptech, mediatech, edtech, deeptech.
Multiple companies, all his own.
A decade of building, and more than seven awards. Founder, entrepreneur, journalist, author.
Who he is
Ankith Reddy is an Indian entrepreneur based in Bengaluru. Since the age of nineteen he has built companies across proptech, mediatech, edtech and deeptech, and runs them alongside work as an author and in film.
He was born in Kadapa, in Andhra Pradesh, and came to Bengaluru for the work. He read business administration at Bangalore University and journalism and mass communication at IGNOU, and started in a newsroom before he started in business. His work has since been recognised with more than seven awards.
The companies have little in common with each other. A property platform, a media house, a realty practice, a schools app and an aerospace workshop are not a strategy so much as a habit. What connects them is that he tends to start the thing rather than wait for it.
